How do you know when you’ve been a stay-at-home mother for too long? That is an easy answer! You know when you go to apply for work, only to discover that no one has any interest in hiring you. I mean, outside of maybe volunteer work or being a substitute for the local Head Start/ECEAP program, that is. No! There’s nothing wrong with being a substitute! I love the work. I adore the kids. However, there comes a point where you need something a bit more steady and secure. Guaranteed hours each week. I have no problems working part-time.
