And I actually have written a couple of poems myself:

This one was for my Grandmother who passed away Dec 3rd, 1996 at the age of 80 from cancer:

The day you died
Broke my heart in two
How could I go on?
How could I live without you?

As a child, you held me tight
Read me stories and kissed me goodnight
Taught me about flowers, animals, and trees
And fixed my wounds when given by bees.

You lit up my life,
You gave me hope,
When my world was full of strife,
You gave me the strength to cope.

I lost my heart when you left
I thought it would never mend
But I have wonderful memories
And Mickey Ross, I’ll love you till my end.

My poem that I wrote about Sejuani, a League of Legends champion you can find here:
